Who handles your enquiry
Wardale Engineering, run by Tom Wardale, is the business receiving enquiries through this website. You can contact Tom at tom@wardale-eng.co.uk or 07891 619893, or write to Unit 4, Burton Cliff Farm, Middle St, Lincoln LN1 2RG. Workshop visits remain strictly by appointment.
Information you provide
The contact page uses an embedded GHL enquiry form provided through ScaleSuite, and the website includes a LeadConnector chat widget. These tools collect the information you enter into them. Please provide only information relevant to the enquiry and do not include card details, passwords or sensitive personal information. Photographs and drawings sent separately by email become part of that correspondence.
How enquiry information is used
Your information is used to understand and handle your enquiry, discuss the proposed work and make arrangements you request. Handling a quotation request may involve steps towards a contract; handling other correspondence and maintaining service records may involve legitimate business interests. Sending a form is not consent to unrelated marketing and does not create a workshop booking.
Storage and access
New form and chat enquiries are handled through the business’s GHL and LeadConnector services, rather than the previous website enquiry form. Earlier website enquiry records remain private in Lovable Cloud. Hosting and service providers process information needed to operate the site. Contact Tom for details about provider access, safeguards, retention and any notifications configured in those services.
How long information is kept
A fixed retention period has not been specified. Contact Tom to ask how long a particular enquiry or job record will be retained or to request deletion. Information connected with agreed work may need to be kept for relevant accounting, legal or warranty purposes. Deletion requests are considered alongside those obligations; this page does not promise automatic deletion after an invented period.
Maps, external links and technical information
The GHL form, LeadConnector chat and embedded Google Maps remain blocked until you consent to the relevant service. They may process technical information or use cookies and browser storage under their own policies. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change or withdraw consent; calling and emailing remain available without enabling them. Our cookie policy explains the choices and preference storage. External links connect to their providers when followed. Hosting may process technical information needed for delivery and security.
Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law provides rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict or object to processing, and obtain data in a portable form. Where consent is the basis for processing, you can withdraw it. Contact Tom using the details above to make a request. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
