Wardale Engineering is run by Tom Wardale, a specialist welder and fabricator with 14 years' experience. After working as an industrial pipe welder, Tom set up his own workshop in Lincolnshire to work closer to home and focus on the vehicles he's passionate about: classic cars, American imports and old Land Rovers.
That means you deal with the person actually building your exhaust. No sales team and no handover. Tom holds an NVQ Level 3 in Welding and Fabrication and certified codings for thin-wall stainless tube, and the business carries ÂŁ2m public liability insurance.

How much does a custom stainless exhaust cost?+
Full custom stainless steel exhaust systems start from ÂŁ800. Every vehicle is different, so Tom gives a free quote on all custom work.
Do you offer a warranty?+
Yes. A lifetime warranty is available on custom stainless steel exhaust builds. It does not apply to manufactured parts, general fabrication, dry ice blasting or underseal.
Can I just turn up at the workshop?+
No: the workshop is strictly by appointment. Get in touch first to arrange an appointment, Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm. Weekend vehicle drop-off and collection can be arranged in advance.
Do you sell exhaust parts online?+
Yes. Pre-manufactured parts are available including Range Rover L322 back box deletes and Land Rover Defender and Discovery TD5 exhaust parts. Get in touch to order; prices and fitment are confirmed on enquiry.
